Survived by wife of 48 years Patricia; sons William and Richard.

Reception of Friends following CDC guidelines: Friday, March 12, noon-2:00 p.m., followed by

Memorial Service following CDC guidelines at 2:00 p.m., both at Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

    So sorry Trish, to hear of Dick’s passing. I will always remember Dick for his willingness to help with any computer/IT issues I was having and his help was always in a very kind and patient manner. My prayers and caring thoughts go out to you and your family at this very difficult time. May his memories bring you peace.

    Trish and family – I’m so very sorry for your loss. Dick was a wonderful person and an awesome instructor. He will be sadly missed by everyone at Bellevue University. May he rest in peace and may you find comfort.

    Dick was an excellent professor and wonderful colleague. He always stopped what he was doing to help me figure out how to handle an issue at BU. When it was a student issue – he would smile, tilt his head back, and say “just give them an F.” I miss him already.

    My condolences to the family. I grew up next door to the Stuttes in Sioux Falls. Great family. Spent days playing with Dick and his chemistry set. He will be missed.
