LaVonne Luella Campbell
March 14, 1939 ~ March 31, 2025
Age 86
LaVonne graduated from Dakota City High School. She worked at Zenith assembling radios and TVs. She met her husband Wesley “Wes” via Sioux City Journal pen pal. They were married April 5, 1975 and moved to the farm near Hartington, Nebraska.
Her hobbies included gardening, cooking and baking. Her garden included both flowers and vegetables and lots of house plants. They always had a big garden at the farm. She participated in and lead a women’s bible study group.
Preceded in death by her husband Wesley Campbell; parents Lloyd and Luella Rich; sister Mildred Armstrong.
Survived by her son Kelly (Kerri) Campbell – Bellevue, NE; grandchildren Lily and Jonah Campbell – Bellevue; brothers Vern (Hilda) Rich – Fort Smith, AR, Merle (Eleonor) Rich – Des Moines, IA, Tom (Judy) Rich – Whiting, IA; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, April 6, 2025, 3:00-5:00 p.m., Bellevue Memorial Chapel.
Memorial Service: Monday, April 7, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Bellevue Memorial Chapel
Graveside Service: Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 11:00 a. m., Hartington City Cemetery
