James W. “Jim” Beardmore
June 7, 1937 – September 16, 2025
Age 88
Known by some of his oldest friends as “Scooter,” Jim was admired, respected, and full of life.
A lifelong musician, he began piano at age five and went on to share his love of jazz through awards and countless performances. He also lived with an entrepreneurial spirit, owning businesses and franchises including Lil’ Duffer, Hardee’s, and Taco John’s.
Jim was preceded in death by daughters Beth Beardmore, Jeanne Beardmore, and Denise McMartin.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sandra; grandchildren, Haley Rogers (Alex) and Cale McMartin (Luisa); and great-grandchildren, Addison, Jayce, Remi, Luca, and Sydney.
Visitation: Friday, September 19, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

Jim was my amazing boss at Midland Foods!!! He was still my friend years later. And boy what a wonderful piano player!!! Rest in peace dear friend . Condolences to Sandra and the family…
