Super person. One of the most professional people I’ve known. Willie always provided great guidance to every crewmember who flew with him on Casey 01. Very sad time for all of us.

I’ve had three friends in my life and now that willie is gone I’m down to two. My fondest memory of willie is when we were together in Combat Lightning. Willie and I were pulling spare and willie told me he had a lot to do on the office. I told him not to worry as I was wearing my red socks. And I had never launched on spare when I wore my red socks. You guessed it, the primary aborted and we launched. It was a great flight. I think we laughed and joked the whole flight. GO BIG RED. Have a great time up yonder willie…….Doug

A great man, leader, and crewmember is how I would describe Chief Pelletier. I first met “The Chief” in December of 1980 when I interviewed for the SAC Command Crew. Chief Pelletier was always an absolute professional and a gentleman both on and off duty. I’m sure God has a new Chief Radio Operator on His staff. Rest in Peace Chief, thank you for your friendship, and for your outstanding service to the United States of America.
