I still cannot believe your light got snuffed out way before it’s time. The past 100+ days without have been challenging and at times mind blowing – but while I’m disappointed and saddened we won’t be doing life on earth together anymore, I’m comforted knowing our mere seven years of sisterhood was valuable, deep and unwavering. This wasn’t apart of the “plan” Cupcake, but I’m sure you knew that. I miss you terribly and I think of you often. Love you always.

For flowers that bloom about our feet, for tender grass so fresh and sweet, for song of bird and hum of bee, for beauty of all living things, Father in heaven we thank thee.

It was a lovely service. I’m so thankful we had an opportunity to spend quality time with Vivian and Conor all those years ago in Monterey. Though we are separated by states and miles, we are deeply grateful to all of you because we are connected as family through your amazing dad. Thank you for sharing Vivian and Gramps with us. We hope to spend more time with each of you in the future to connect even further. Love from your CA family. Emily, Kevin, Elise, Finn, Mia, and Andrew Desai
