Virgil Ray Lusk, CMSgt USAF (Ret)
April 4, 1937 ~ March 13, 2025
Age 87
Virgil R. Lusk was born April 4, 1937 in Tulare, CA to Earl and Inez Lusk. He died March 13, 2025.
Virgil was raised on a farm and upon graduation from high school he enlisted in the Air Force. He had a very successful 28 year 10 months and 15 day military career. He always made sure we counted those 10 months and 15 days.
After retirement he worked for a defense contractor for 5 years and then retired from corporate life. After that he did what he loved, which was woodworking. He worked at the Offutt Air Force Base wood hobby shop making shadow boxes for flags and medals and helped others learn the trade. He also made crosses, pulpits, and other specialty items for various churches and organizations in the Bellevue area. Virgil will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Virgil is survived by his wife Helen; his daughters Brenda (Keith) Bishop and Pamela (Matthew) Schweitzer; grandchildren Erin, Justin (Kelsey), Kelsey (Greg), Lindsay and Evan and by his great grandchildren Kobe, Brayden, Lucas and Wilodene.

Pam I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. Please know you and your family are in my prayers! ❤️
Helen: I just learned of Virgil’s passing…I am so sorry. I have often thought of both of you since my last visit a couple of years ago. Virgil was such a kind and caring person: I will always remember him and his cute little chuckle-laugh. He is now at peace and walking around shaking hands with all of his Air Force friends and catching up with them. You and the girls have years of wonderful memories that you will always keep in your heart CINDY JONES
