Valencia Allean Bressman
September 24, 1965 – May 2, 2017
Valencia Allean Bressman was born September 24, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska to the parentage of Pearlie Mae Jones and Frederick Washington Jones. Valencia was the youngest of eight children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Frederick Willougby and sister Deborah Yvonne.
Valencia received her formal education attending Omaha Public Schools and was a graduate of Peru State University, Peru, Nebraska. Valencia was active in the volleyball and basketball program and received several scholarships and many athletic accolades. Valencia received a Bachelor of Science Degree and was a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
Valencia received Christ at an early age. Through Christian faith she and was baptized by the late L.D. Clemmons of St. Mark Baptist Church, Omaha, Nebraska.
On September 1, 2000, Valencia was joined in holy matrimony to her loving husband Edward Frank Bressman.
Valencia leaves to cherish her memories her caring and devoted husband of 17 years, Edward Frank Bressman and their wonderful dog and companion “Mario”. Sisters: Brenda Jones, Tonami Marie Jones, Brothers: Vincent Andre Jones, Frederick Wayne Jones and Derek Lamar Jones all of Dallas, Texas, Sister-in-law, Yvonne Cornish (Steve) of Nebraska and a host of grieving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends throughout the United States.
Visitation: 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel
Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel
Memorials will be directed by the family
