Timothy Allen Bailey Sr.

Timothy Allen Bailey Sr., age 61, of Papillion, NE, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep at his home on November 15, 2024. Born on January 29, 1963, Tim grew up to embody a spirit of adventure and even a glorious pain in the neck. Which was something he never outgrew. He was a man of many layers you needed to peel back and a paradoxical blend of kindness and stubbornness. His life was marked by a diverse array of interests and a deep commitment to provide for his family.

Tim attended Gilder Elementary School and graduated from Bryan High School. In 1990, he enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving aboard the U.S.S. Canopus AS-34 at Naval Base, Kings Bay, GA. Throughout his service, he was honored with 2 Good Conduct Awards, a Battle “E” Ribbon, and a National Defense Service Medal, reflecting his dedication and conduct.

Professionally, Tim was employed at Highland Dairy, formerly known as Robert’s Dairy, where he worked as a unilloy operator. His work ethic was unparalleled, often embracing overtime for both the work and the pay it brought.

His personal life was filled with vibrant hobbies. In his younger days, Tim enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, a passion that evolved into collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia, including diecast motorcycles and themed shirts. His collections were extensive, ranging from Tupperware to coins, and from pewter dragons to blown glass. He was also a devoted fan of garage sale shopping every weekend. During the holidays, he cherished decorating for Christmas, creating joyful memories for his family.

Tim is survived by his six children, Nicole Finch, Amanda King, Misty Carpenter, Tim Bailey Jr., Tiffany Bailey, and Skyler Bailey; nine grandchildren: Hailey, Kaitlyn, Randy, Aubrey, Beckett, Declan, Keely, Kenshin and Hudson; and siblings: Vicki and husband Manuel Chavez, Kathy and husband Les Hansen, Belinda Fritz, Kris and husband Raymond Zendejas, and Jerry Holden. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Kathryn Roberts and William Bailey Sr., his brother William Bailey Jr., and his granddaughter Destiny Bailey.

Tim’s life and legacy will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him.
