Laura and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your folks were such a big part of my growing up. I remember how Mr. Halpin seemed to grow to 7 feet tall when he would put on his uniform and Smokey Bear hat; such an imposing figure! My husband used to visit with him at Douglas County and he still – 60 years later – called me “The Dutchman”. He is the last of a generation. My prayers are with you.

Laura and Family, My dad, Bob Piercy and Stu were great friends for many years. Stu was at my dad’s funeral and it comforted me having him there. Stu always gave me a hard time anytime he saw me. I’ll miss his brand of ornery. I’m sure he and the other Troop A gang are celebrating being together again. Praying for strength and peace as you navigate this difficult time. Amy Piercy-Carlstedt
Dear Laura and Family, I am saddened to learn of your fathers’s death. I have many memories of cousin Stewart and extended family throughout the years when families were close and shared Sundays and holidays together.. I am sorry that because of the health recommendations in place that Dick and I and my sister-in-law, Lois will not be able to attend Stewart’s service. We will watch the live-streaming.. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you as you celebrate his life with fond memories. Love, Nancy
Laura, Sorry for your loss. Your Dad is in heaven now! I’m sure your Mother was their to greet him. God bless you and your family.
Laura: So sorry to hear about your dad. He was a great friend to Dixon and Mitzi and never failed to remember me as “Squeaky”. Bev
We are sorry for your loss.
Laura and Family. My heart breaks hearing the news of your dad’s passing. How many times did he follow me home while I rode my bike from your house because I had stayed too late. We’d spend the day at the state fair while he worked there. I think of you often and will keep you all in my prayers.
