We love you Granny Shirley. You were the kindest lady and we always enjoyed talking to you and spending the holidays with you and hearing your stories. Always loved your English accent.
Selfishly we really wanted you to meet our son over Christmas but we will tell him of how great you are and how much joy you brought to your family and friends.
Shirley and Doug were friends. We met in Hawaii at Hale Koa military hotel every year. We missed Doug and now Shirley will be missed. Prayers for all family!🙏
We met Shirley when she sold us our first house then again by accident at the Halekoa in Waikiki. Everyone knows that English accent even across a room filled by tourists at the Halekoa.
Jane and I will miss you as well as my fellow Chief Doug.
Shirley and Doug were my next door neighbors. I believe they were the first to build their house in our neighborhood and my wife (66 years) and I were the third. After my wife died, Shirley would remind me that I was to join her for supper. She was the perfect neighbor and hinted that I couldn’t sell and move to Florida. Even after I moved, we were frequently in touch. I’m sure that the two neighbor ladies are once again visiting. Shirley, you were truly a wonderful friend. God Bless
