Preceded in death by husband Julius; son DeWayne Hill; parents Louis & Ola Mae Johnson; sister Mary DeCrumpe; brother Lawrence Johnson; sister Helen Johnson-Campbell; brothers Nathaniel & Harold Johnson.
Survived by son David Hill (Lynn); daughters Diane Hill-Hammitt (Kyle) & Debra McIntosh (Rolland); grandchildren Michael Hill, Sheena Hill & Rachel McIntosh; great-grandchildren Lilyana, Julius & Hayden Hill; brother Clifford Johnson (Mary Jo); sister Margaret Gray; beloved niece Kim Hatcher; and very special great niece Kayla Hatcher.
Ruth was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Secret Pals Club. She enjoyed going on cruises and loved cooking, baking and gardening.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, January 26 at Bellevue Memorial Chapel
Interment: Bellevue Cemetery
