Roger A. Erftmier
Roger Alan Erftmier, 83, of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away on June 3, 2023. He was born February 8, 1940, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Robert and Vera Erftmier.
Roger graduated from Creighton Prep, Creighton University and the Marquette University College of Engineering. He was a member of the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society and the Pi Tau Sigma National Mechanical Engineering Honor Society. Roger spent his career as co-owner of Central Ice Machine Company.
Roger’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He loved traveling to Hawaii and treasured time with his grandsons at Beaver Lake.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Geri; daughters Kim Gregory (Steve) and Tracy Prather (Chuck); grandsons Drew Gregory (Hilary), Jason Gregory, Chad Prather and Joey Prather; brother, Don Erftmier, Sr.; brother and sister in-law Harold and Marj Cockson; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Roger’s life can make a contribution to Creighton Preparatory School or the Marquette University Opus College of Engineering.
