ELOFSON, ROBERT WARREN

Loving husband, father and grandfather and all around great guy.
Preceded in death by daughter, Jerine Pearson; grandson, Roberto Pearson; parents, Arthur and Esther Elofson; sister, Joyce Geldert. Survived by wife, Lyla J. (Nelson) Elofson; son Martin Pearson, Paul (Cheryl) Elofson, Timothy (Peg) Elofson, Stephen Elofson; grandchildren, Erica Pearson (Edward Schneider), Cara (Ryan) McQuillan, Michael Elofson, Christopher Elofson, Aaron Elofson; great-granddaughters, Emma, Elise, Macy and Emilia; many nieces and nephews from the Geldert and Nelson clans.
He grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and served in the Navy 1946-1948. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1952. He married Lyla in 1950 and worked for Northwestern Bell/US West for 35 years.
The family extends their thanks to the caregivers at Papillion Manor for their kindness and compassion.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends prior to service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bellevue.
