Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Preceded in death by son James; brothers Edward & Percell Swoopes
Survived by wife of 62 years Julia; children Sharon Harvey, Robert Swoopes, Jr., Rita Swoopes; grandsons Christopher Swoopes/Carvajal, Christopher Harvey, Joseph Swoopes/Carvajal
Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 15th followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. both at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel
Interment Bellevue Cemetery
Military Honors by Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard

I knew Bob when he was working at the bank and I was working for Woodmen. Bob was a class act and will be remembered by many in the business community as a man who worked hard for the betterment of our community.
