Raymond C. Bottner CWO4 USAF (Ret)

February 28, 1926 – August 12, 2022

CWO4 Raymond C. Bottner died August 12, 2022 in Bellevue, NE.  He was born in Pittsburg, PA.

His military service of 30 years included service in Italy during World War II.  He served in Italy, Germany, France, India, Labrador, Newfoundland, Pakistan, Area 51, and many military bases in the United States.  He served in many jobs including Communication Officer, Electronic Computer Maintenance Officer, Mechanical Engineer and finally as Chief of Maintenance with the 544th Aerospace Reconnaissance Technical Wing at Offutt.

Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Sylvia; parents Raymond and Marie Bottner; son Raymond Christian; two sisters Ruth Moore and Patricia Farner.

Survived by his sons Robert, Randall and Ronald Bottner.

Mass of Christian Burial:  Thursday, August 18, Noon, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2302 Crawford Street, Bellevue.

Interment: Thursday, August 18, 2:00 p.m., Omaha National Cemetery
