Nancy Marie Selby (Sittler) was born July 19, 1930, to Walter and Priscilla Sittler. Nancy was a very kind and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and daughter. She was a woman of noble character!
Nancy grew up on a farmstead near Hartley, Iowa. She was one of 5 children: Delbert, Hazel, Joyce, Don and Nancy. She attended a small rural country school until high school.

Nancy loved taking care of her flower gardens. She would tend to the vegetable garden with care to bring in a full harvest. She was very good with canning vegetables and fruits, making jams and preserves, and also enjoyed creating handmade rugs. But most of all, Nancy loved being a good wife and mothering her children!
