Mike is one of my husband’s best friends. We grieve and are mourning this loss. We had only started to each enjoy our Mississippi condo’s, which are in the same unit. Butch and Mike each bought their last 18 wheeler’s from the same person; Mike’s was gray & Butch’s was red; same make & model, so “brother trucks”. Then they both liked Chrysler 300’s: Butch’s is off white: Mike’s a unique green color. They spent many many hours on the Gulf Coast, Golfing. Going to Concerts. Going to New Orleans Saints games. Eating big; talking politics & usually disagreeing amiably. The several years Mike has been in our life has got to be enough, but we wanted so much more. I’ll add more. We have so many stories. Twin Corvettes which I drove from Mississippi for Mike when he bought it. I’m so sad.
We are just heartbroken & will miss him so much. Please keep Butch in touch with all arrangements & we will celebrate his life for the rest of ours. I wish you all knew how good he was to Taylor, one of our favorite friends on the coast. She is young, and “Murph” mentored & guided her, as he doesn’t have much of father figures in her life. I know how much she looked up to him. He was kind and generous to people from the folks that served him in a restaurant to homeless folks on the street. Our hearts are breaking.
Mike was the best guy ever. My heart aches for this loss but I know you wouldn’t want any of us feeling sad. I loved doing your hair and seeing that “old lady” brush you would always bring w you. I remember the last time I saw you , it was a very bad snow storm but I told Joni I was coming no matter what cuz it’s Mike and I will do anything for him. I never thought that day would be the last time I saw you, You will be greatly missed my friend. Heaven is going to be living it up now. ❤️
Our sincere condolences to Mike’s mother, and to the siblings, specifically Joni, that provided care for Mike in his last days. May you be blessed with happy memories of his happy face.
Our heart’s are boken. Gone too soon. Rest my brother, you were so much loved. I know you will be watching over us.
Joni so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
