McCoy, Michael F.
November 1, 1962 ~ October 25, 2017
Age 54 yrs.
Mike was dedicated to his family, friends and work and will be dearly missed by all. A carpenter at heart, Mike loved to work with his hands and was very creative. He had many passions that included woodworking, gardening and his beloved Green Bay Packers.
He was born in Shreveport, LA and was the second to youngest amongst four brothers and three sisters. In growing up in a military family, who was committed to their faith, Mike learned what hard work and dedication meant. He applied these same principles to everything he did. As a young man, Mike earned one of the highest rankings in Boy Scouts, an Eagle Scout. He went on to further his education in obtaining an associate’s degree in Construction management.
Mike was a devoted father who took great pride in his five children and cherished the time he spent with them.
A son, a father and a friend, the memories and legacy Mike has left with us will be forever etched in our hearts.
