Madgie Marie (Rachau) Foote, age 95 Years, 6 Months, of Bellevue, Nebraska – went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Madgie was born June 15th, 1927 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Frankie L. Rachau and Faye E. (Helms) Rachau.
She met and grew up with her childhood sweetheart George W. Foote whom she later married on November 9th, 1945. Madgie was a “stay at home Mom” laboring to care for her husband and ten children, making sure they were educated not only in academics but in the spiritual teaching of Her Lord. She spent many years as a Sunday School Teacher. After the death of her beloved husband George, she graduated from Camden Christian Academy where she taught for many years before retiring and relocating to Bellevue, NE. Her main interests included attending Midlands Bible Baptist Church, reading and studying Her Bible, being a Prayer Warrior daily. Hobbies were reading, quilting, embroidering, sewing, cooking, puzzles, and taking care of her many house plants and pet turtle “Dude”. She enjoyed spending time with all family members and church friends.
Madgie was a member of the Midlands Bible Baptist Church, Bellevue, Nebraska for over 25 years, she loved her Pastors and many church family friends.
To sum up Madgie’s life she loved Her Lord, her country, her family and her church family.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life Husband George W. Foote. Her parents Frankie L. and Faye E. (Helms) Rachau. Sister Mary (Rachau) Nagunst. Brothers William, Frank, Robert and Clifford. Sister-in-laws Elizabeth, Patricia and Judy. Brother-in-laws Melvin Nagunst, John Childers and Dwight Monroe. Son William G. Foote, Daughter Shirley J. (Foote) Mutchler. Son-in-laws Joseph C. Wieczorek and David C. Pazderka. Grandchildren Justine, Matthew and Sean. Great Grandchildren Lakota and Drake.
She is survived by her sisters Phyllis (Rachau) Monroe of Des Moines, IA, Caroline (Rachau) Childers of Russellville, AR. Sister-in-law Patricia Rachau of Richland, MO. Daughter Janice M. (Foote) Wieczorek and family of Omaha, NE. Son Michael C. Foote wife Debora and family of Council Bluffs, IA. Son Frankie A. Foote wife Pamela and family of Council Bluffs, IA. Daughter Denise E. (Foote) Pazderka and family of Glenwood, IA. Son Charles L. Foote wife Julie of Council Bluffs, IA. Son Roger D. Foote and family of Bellevue, NE. Daughter Paula L. (Foote) Sherrer husband Howard and family of Richland, MO. Son Raymond A. Foote wife Joy and family of Eldon, MO.
“Mom / Grandma / Great Grandma / Great Great Granma / Aunt Madgie” was loved and much adored by her many Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Siblings, Nieces and Nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, December 23, 11:00 a.m., Midlands Bible Baptist Church, 2407 Chandler Road East, Bellevue.

Madgie was a true Christian Lady in all the true since of the word . I never heard her say a bad word or a bad thing about anyone. Loved her house shoes at Christmas time never were sure what she would wear lol.i know it has been tough year for Janice , Chantell. Aaren ,Ashlee love you all very much ❤

Thankful for the time we had with Madgie, she was an old school honest to goodness Christian. We will surely miss her! She set a great example for the rest of us . May God comfort and encourage the family.
