Lorraine G. Gockowski
June 14, 1929 – May 7, 2024
Age 94
Lorraine was a loving wife to husband Dave for 71 years, best friend to each of her four kids and a doting grandmother and great grandmother. She was an amazing cook and was always happy no matter what life brought her. She served over 40 years of hour of adoration at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild, CDA, volunteered at St. Mary’s School and Knights of Columbus festivals, and worked when necessary throughout their marriage.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband David; grandson Matthew Covrig; brother Floyd Vorlicek parents Clarence & Marie Vorlicek.
She is survived by her daughter Vicki Covrig (Dan); sons David Gockowski (Linda), and Mike Gockowski; daughter Susan Anderson (Dennis); grandchildren Tracy Ball, Katie Covrig, Kelly, Nick, Joey Anderson (Brie); great grandchildren Preslie & Dillon Ball, Lilly Hysell, and Ethan Sword.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 14, 10:00-11:00 a.m., with Rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by a
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 811 West 23rd Avenue, Bellevue, Nebraska.
