Loren J. “Bert” Berthelsen

May 7, 1932 ~ January 26, 2019

Bert was a Korean War veteran, who retired after 35 years of active and civil service.  He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Bert is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Freddie; daughter Tami Houdesheldt (Randy); son Todd Berthelsen (Jennifer); grandchildren Celeste (Mark), Kelli, Kelsey and Cody; great-granddaughter Lacy; and extended family members.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 30th at 10 AM, followed by a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 11 AM at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

Military Honors by the Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 331.
