Lavinia Ann Vicich passed into Heaven at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk, Nebraska on 19 March 2019.

Ann was born in Yankton, South Dakota to Oscar Sayler and Edna Marie Andrews. She graduated Salina High School in 1954 and married United States Air Force Airman Leonard Byron Vicich of Joliet, Illinois, 17 December 1954 in Salina, Kansas.  Ann and Leonard arrived at Offutt AFB, Bellevue, Nebraska in 1968. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She shared her love for children through a life time; of child care for others, as a Cafeteria Assistant at Mission Middle School and a Teacher at Day Care Plus. She loved sewing, music, dancing and traveling to visit family. Being with her family was her joy and her life.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings (Eugene Sayler and half sister Delcie Goodwin.) Survivors include sister in-law Cindy Sayler of Thornton, Colorado; brother-In-law Robert (Joyce) Vicich of Joliet, Illinois; sisters-in-law Vivian (Vicich) Rigler of San Pedro, California; Audrey (Vicich) Ventura of Fiera Vista, Arizona; son and daughter-in-law, Grant (Chantalle) Vicich of Bellevue, Nebraska; Michael (Jinanne) Vicich of Jacksonville, Florida; Robert (Sara) Vicich of Omaha, Nebraska; John (Krista) Vicich of Boston Massachusetts;  10 grandchildren, Grant Vicich Jr., Rachel (Jeff) Schmidt, David (Brenda) Vicich, Shawn Vicich, Michelle Romeo, Candice Vicich, Laurie ( Steven) Szymczak, Michael ( Jamie) Vicich; Allen Vicich, Aaron Vicich; 10 great grandchildren, Lillian, Collin, Christopher, Ryan, Steven, Preston, Zadie, Joseph, Alexandria, Damien and many cousins, nieces, nephews.  

Visitation:  Friday, March 22^nd, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Services: Saturday, March 23^rd, 10:30 a.m.,  at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

Interment Bellevue Cemetery. 

Memorials will be directed by the family.
