Laura B. Horne

January 28, 1939 ~ April 1, 2023

Age 84

Laura Horne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Osceola, Wisconsin where she met the love of her life, Marion.  Being a military wife, she traveled the world with Murry and their four daughters. Some of her most memorable places stationed together were Turkey, Hawaii, and Germany.

Laura worked for the Bellevue Public Schools for 17 years at various schools. Upon retiring, she volunteered and assisted in her daughter’s classroom for another 17 years.

She was an active member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Throughout her years at Pilgrim, Laura was a Sunday school teacher as well as a VBS teacher, and a member of the women’s bible study group. She spent countless hours making quilts that were donated to many charitable organizations.

Laura had endless talents, from sewing, embroidery, quilt making, ceramics, gardening, and baking. She was also an avid sports fan, and you could always find her cheering for the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family.
