Joshua Adam Trichel

Joshua Adam Trichel

June 29, 1988 – October 29, 2021

Age 33

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Adam and Noemi Francois, and paternal grandmother Bobbie Trichel.

Josh is survived by his daughter Anaiah Trichel, her mother Monica Romero and her sons Raul, Anthony, and Keano Loera; father David Trichel (Jeannie); mother Rachel Trichel; paternal grandfather Doyle Trichel; brother David Trichel II; sister Katherine Fredlund (Tanner); half brother Gabriel Cope; and step siblings Demetrius, Jasmine (Louis Dorsey), and Jordan Armistead.

Josh was many things to many people. His most significant role was being a dad to his greatest blessing, Anaiah Lucy. He made it his goal to always be a present parent, and make the best life possible for his daughter.

Josh was also a loving son, grandson, brother and friend. Those who knew him were blessed. He himself had many characteristics, a few of those being a jokester, sports fanatic, and cooking enthusiast. Go Chiefs, Lakers , and the fighting Irish!!

He had a zest for life and was full of laughter, in fact his laughter was contagious. By day he was an electrician with Vierregger Electric Company; however, his true passion was cooking. That man loved creating delicious tasty cuisines, and brought immense joy to those he created it for. One of his many goals was to open a food truck so others could enjoy his passion.

Josh was a hard working, dependable man. Always there to lend a helping hand, from helping with homework, reading books, building a patio, cutting grass, chopping trees or fabricating fire pits… Josh was your man. A true man’s man!!

Although he is no longer physically here, we will see him everyday in our hearts and through our memories. Until we meet again.

Josh always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around. He looked tough but he was a huge goofball. He loved his football and basketball. His daughter Anaiah was his world and he would do anything for her. His bond with Tj was unbreakable, they called eachother brothers because in their hearts they were. He will truly be missed by everyone who loved him.

My Josh Trichel, the most amazing man I’ve ever met. He showed me what real love is The first moment I saw him I knew he was the one for me. We would quote movie lines together, sing& had little catch phrases we would say to each other. I’ve never met anyone with such passion in everything he did.I remember we would listen to KLove that’s all he would listen to going to work. We spoiled each other he would cook dinner & I would wash the dishes. He would do the laundry& I would fold it all. We were a team. We had game nights with Nais & have tickling matches. What an amazing father!I love those two so much they were my family. I lost my best friend my soul mate, love of my life but heaven gained an angel. I love you babe always & forever. One of the last things you said to me was “I’m your King and you’re my Queen” We were talking about how we were gonna have an epic wedding cake & how we were gonna try &have a baby soon. But I know this stuff is on pause until we meet again Babe

Josh was such an easy-going, loving, and charismatic man. He was absolutely wonderful with kids and an amazing father. He and Anaiah spent a lot of time with us over the summers having dinners, play dates, and swimming “parties” with the kids at my mom’s house. Josh and was always interacting with the kids, making them laugh and playing around with them. He loved making everyone smile and laugh and knew how to cheer someone up when they were down. He was a good friend, a wonderful soul, and we are saddened by his loss. May his memories forever live on in the hearts of those that love him, especially his sweet Anaiah.

Josh and I met in High School and after we graduated from Churchill we stuck by each other’s side and got into everything together. He was introduced into my family and was now a family friend. We lived our different lives but kept in touch. I definitely feel like I lost a brother, I can’t believe this happened, wish I could of been there for you. I will never forget you and I’ll see you soon big dawg!

My Deepest condolences to the family.
