Survived by wife of 56 years Rachel; son David Sherman (Ina); daughter Deb Sherman; grandchildren George (Catie), Tasha(Derek), Kari (Kevin), Nichole (Eddy), Deirdre (Rydel);

great-grandchildren Kiana, Aslynn, Dean; sister Martha Malsbary (Sam).

VISITATION:  5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, 2202 Hancock Street, Bellevue

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Bellevue Memorial Chapel

    Joe was a fun loving man. Willing to help anyone. Enjoyed doing many things. His laugh will be missed Know he is in heaven having a lot of fun!

    So very sorry to hear this news about Joe. Our dear Texas family is now starting to get less. We well always have a smile on our faces each time we speak of Joe. What a jolly man he was. We will miss him. Take care Rachel.

    Raechel, so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. He will sure be missed. We always enjoyed ourselves in your company, and will cherish these moments forever.

    Hugs and prayers Rachel and family. We will certainly miss seeing you & Joe at camp outs. Always enjoyed visiting with him and all the interesting stories he always had to tell..
