Preceded by his mother Haywood B. O’Hara; grandparents Thomas A. and Clara (Lang) O’Hara of Coatesville, PA, and Willis and Haywood Belle (Stroud) Brumfield of Itta Bena, MS.

Survived by his father Thomas A. O’Hara, Jr. of Bellevue; his daughters Isabella Marie O’Hara and Haywood Patricia O’Hara both of Bellevue; his sisters Deborah Deterding (Kelly) of Lubbock, TX, Pamela Huff (Harold) of Omaha, Kimberlea Sautter (John) of Bellevue; brother Thomas A. O’Hara (evaMarie) of Omaha; dozens of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

John was a 1988 graduate of Bellevue West High School and a 1995 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He was also a member of the National Society Sons of the American Revolution. A member of the Nebraska Army National Guard from 1988-2002.

Visitation: Friday, June 29, 2018, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel, 2202 Hancock Street, Bellevue

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, June 30, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Church, 7600 S. 42nd Street.

 Interment: Bellevue Cemetery, Military Honors

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the John O’Hara Memorial Fund through American National Bank, account #320279508 in support of John’s daughters.
