JoAnn Gibbons passed away January 14 at the age of 75.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Owens; step-father, Fred Owens and brother, Albert “Freddy” Owens.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Gibbons TSgt USAF (Ret.); children, Bob Gibbons, Mike Gibbons, Dave Gibbons (Doreen) and Jenny (John) Haack and grandchildren, Richard, John, Nathan, Colin, Matthew and Erick. Jo was born January 11, 1942, in Kansas City, MO to Martha Petry. She grew up in Lincoln, NE with her family, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1960. She married Bill Gibbons, June 27, 1964 and traveled the world. She settled in Bellevue, NE, taking a job with Bellevue Public Schools in the District Materials Center. In her retirement, she enjoyed reading, word searches and spending time with her grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, 1pm at Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel.
