I worked with Joann at Sams Club. We had both had heart issues so we became quick friends! I grew to love her as my sweet friend. I’m sorry for your loss. We both loved chihuahuas too. She was a great women! If there’s anything I can do to help just email me! I hate I can’t make the funeral I have to work but I wanted you to know she was loved! With deepest sympathy & Love Betty Allen

To Tim (Timmy as I knew you) and Bud, I am so sorry to hear of Joann’s passing. I just found out or would have been at her funeral. I kept telling myself for years that I wanted to reconnect with her but life always seemed to get in the way. She was a wonderful person and a friend when I needed one back when I was an alone single mom. We worked at Grants together and I have such wonderful memories of being with the three of you many nights for dinner and just hanging out. The last time I saw her was years ago at No Frills when she worked there. I don’t know if you’ll see this or not but it was an honor to have called your mom friend. It saddens me that I never got to re-connect with her. Rest In Peace Joann.
