To all of the Targy family we express our deepest sympathy. Although we are especially saddened by your loss we have fond memories of Jean. Jean was a good friend of my Mom for many years and they enjoyed having coffee together after attending weekday Mass. Jean always had a joyful disposition that made people who knew her fill at ease. We ask God’s Mercy on her soul and the joy of the Resurrection and everlasting life to be with her forever.
Tom,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. Your Mom and Dad were two of the sweetest people I had the honor of knowing during my short time in Omaha. Gross High parents were the best in general, but your Mom and Dad went out of their way to be welcoming and warm. They’ll be locked in my prayers and my memory forever; as will you and your family. Loved them both.
Please accept my sympathy and prayers. I remember Jean well from the O’Keefe-Giles picnics. She was always so gracious to me. My husband, Tom, frequently referred to her when talking about the extended family, he had a special place in his heart and memory of her.
So sorry to hear about your mom. Was intending to come down to see her last night but Forgot and Chris Kenny reminded me of it this morning at my son=in=laws ball game.I really feel bad as she was such a sweet lady and always so helpful.. I will say a prayer for her tonight at mass.
Mrs Targy was always gracious and encouraged us neighborhood kids to enjoy each other and to play fair.
