Janet May Wilson

 

Janet May Wilson of Camdenton, MO went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 17, 2024 at the age of 85. She was born in Alpena, MI on November 10, 1938.

She was preceded in death by her husband James (Jim) Wilson, parents Albert and Clara Rast, daughter Denise Latham, brothers Donald, Jerry and Gary Rast, sister Joan Rast Wynn.

She is survived by her daughter Terri Jones and husband Gary, son Michael Wilson, sister Sandy Hansen, brothers James (Jim) and William (Bill) Rast; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Her favorite hobby was traveling around the country with her loving soul-mate and husband Jim in their RV. She also enjoyed gardening and preserving her bounty and sharing them with family and friends. She was an amazing cook, she could bake/cook anything and everything in such a professional way. She was dedicated to her community working at the voting polls. She was committed to ensuring fair and just elections.

Janet leaves behind a lasting legacy characterized by great compassion and generous overflowing love for her family and friends.  As we mourn her loss, we will also celebrate the incredible life she led and honor the lasting impact she had on our lives. She will forever be in our hearts and in our lives.

Funeral Service will be Monday, February 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel, 2202 Hancock St, Bellevue, NE 68005.

Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery.
