Jane Waldo Reck

Jane Waldo Reck of Bellevue, NE, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 21, 2023.

Jane had an incomparable zest for life.  A life-long Christian, she was loving, creative, talented and generous.  She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was born at the home of her parents in Republican City, NE on November 8, 1930.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents Cartha Gifford Waldo and Haskell H Waldo; her younger brother Jerry B. Waldo, all of Republican City, NE; and her parents-in-law, Gladys and Richard Reck of Scotia, NE.

Surviving Jane are her loving husband of 70 years Gerald C. Reck of Scotia, NE; her three loving children:  Roxanne Mullins (Patrick), John A. Reck, and Lorraine Reck; her loving grandchildren: John Patrick Mullins ( Kara), David Reck, Anne Marie Munter (Jordan), and James Reck (Yui); her three great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

Visitation:  Thursday, January 26, from 5-7 p.m., Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Service:  Friday, January 27, 11:30 a.m., Avery Presbyterian Church, 1910 Avery Road East, Bellevue.

Interment: Friday, January 27, 2:30 p.m., Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Road, Omaha.

Memorials suggested to the Avery Presbyterian Church, Bellevue, or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
