This saddens me deeply. Jim had a profound influence on my military career and was a dear friend. In world of Electronic Intelligence, he was a national treasure. He will be missed by many.
    Rest in peace my friend.

Jim was truly a great American patriot over many faithful years of service to the nation. He always found a way to get critical information to the warfighter, even when bureaucrats made it difficult. He championed many highly classified advancements that will continue to protect America’s fighting forces for many years to come. He will be sorely missed, especially in the highly technical scientific areas of defense. I always knew that I could count on Jim.
    God bless him!

I was saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. We go back a long way. All the way to Shaw AFB in 1963 when he rescued me from a dead-end Job to the world of Electronic Intelligence. We followed each other around the world and went to Southeast Asia together followed by a long stent at 544th ARTW & SAC HQ. Sadly we lost touch after retirement from the military. I did visit him in NE in 2006. I have many fond memories of the penny poker games & the BOO-RAY (sp) games at Elgin. I saw “Jimbo” grow up as well as Lisa. Jim was a true Patroit in every way. He taught me a lot and I will always have fond memories of him and his family. Rest In Peace My Friend.

Jim was a Chief when I was a brand new 2Lt with the 544th IES. Always remember him for his great leadership. Ran the IEE branch pretty much. A great Patriot and will be sorely missed by many of us from the old 544th!! Rest in Peace, Chief

I worked with Jim in the mid/late 90s at CSG STRATCOM. He was a good man.
    Rest in peace, Jim.
