Gloria Jean Cranford, 75, of Bellevue, Nebraska, died on May 4, 2022, at Bellevue Medical Center. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on December 16, 1946, the daughter of Gilbert L. and Bertha M. (Richards) Dixson.

She attended Omaha South High School, class of 1964. Following graduation, she married George R. Cranford; they were married for 30 years. She enjoyed Husker football, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and all her canine companions that she cherished throughout her life.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ronald, Rodger, and Steven, and sister Barbara.

Gloria is survived by daughters Genevieve Pettit and her husband, Darren, of Bellevue, and Gwendolyn Mooney and her husband, William Jr., of Bellevue; grandchildren Logan Pettit, Chase Pettit, Alexandria Mooney, Emily Mooney, Ian Mooney, Kayleigh Mooney, Adam Jezewski and Cassidy Budke; brothers Larry Dixson and his wife, Jane, of Bellevue, and Timothy Dixson, of Bellevue; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: Sunday, May 15, 1:00 p.m., at Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

    Gloria was an awesome sister-in-law. She welcomed me into the Dixson family and she will always be remembered with love. Gennie and Gwen, you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
