Kuhlman, Gerald “Jerry Old Sgt” SMSgt USAF (Ret), age 84 of Bellevue, passed away on December 26, 2017. Born in Milan, Michigan, he served over 20 years in the Air Force having completed tours in Spain and Thailand. Jerry loved collecting coins and military memorabilia but loved his family and grandkids the most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Dorothy (Kelby) Kuhlman, and his wife of 52 years Frances “Elaine” (Jones). He is survived by his daughters: Cindy Horton; Patty Broderick and Kevin; Kathie Britten and Bill; grandchildren: Dusty (Missy) and Danielle Broderick, Adam and Ryan Britten; great-grandchildren: Brady & Cody Broderick.
Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Bellevue Memorial Chapel followed by
GRAVESIDE Service, Bellevue Cemetery, at noon with Military Honors by Offutt AFB Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed by the family for a Military Memorial Scholarship Fund.

I’m Jerry’s first cousin residing in Monroe, Mi. Just read of his passing in our today’s paper, To all the family members, please accept my sympathy. Always thought the world of Jerry even though years and states parted us.

I had the great fortune to work with SMSgt Jerry Kuhlman at Offutt AFB. He was a great mentor and friend. Please accept my sincere condolences.
