So sorry and saddened to learn of Dr Ryan’s passing. I was honored and privileged to know him and work with him during his time at Assumption School. He was also a honored guest speaker at my son’s Eagle ceremony while he was Mayor of Bellevue. Our world was a much better world with him in it. Sympathies to his wife, children and family. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I worked with Dr. Ryan for several years at Platteview HS. He was a good leader, always able to offer suggestions and guidance. His unfaltering sense of humor got us through many staff development meetings. Blessings to all of you.

We got to know Dr. Ryan during his years of service as the principal at Assumption Catholic School and then ran into him in his Bellevue office as mayor. For several years after he left Assumption he would send us a Christmas card which was very sweet. We are sure he is smiling down from heaven with his daughter by his side. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad, Aunt Jan’s husband, and my “favorite Uncle” Uncle Jerry was the funniest and kindest man! His light will remain in all of us! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
    Love, Linda

Prayers are with you for the loss of your dad. I was glad we stayed in touch over the years! He always told a funny joke and was just an awesome man and he and I became “Favorite Uncle” and “Favorite niece” when we would talk with each other! His life continues in heaven! God Bless you all! Love Sue
