Mrs. Elizabeth F. Looper was born July 27, 1937 and departed this life February 16, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family.

Visitation with family and friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 24th all at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

Born in Culleoka, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Willie Fitzpatrick Sr. and Phoebe Whitaker Fitzpatrick. She attended the Maury County school system at Clark High School in Mt. Pleasant, TN and studied nursing at Tennessee State University. She was a retired home teacher for ENCOR/Envision, working with the mentally challenged for over 20 years. Elizabeth believed in others and helped them see their potential.

Liz was active in her church, a docent, UNMC volunteer, a member of the ABC club and Ladies of Leisure.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas R. Looper, son Blaine Looper; parents James Willie and Phoebe Fitzpatrick, and brother James Willie Fitzpatrick Jr.

She is survived by daughter Shannon Looper and two granddaughters, Nicole Looper and Samantha Gardner (Terrell); one great-granddaughter and two great great-grandsons; two nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

      Thank you George. Mom truly had a zest for life. Take care of yourself and represent your shared birthday with mom with the same level of zest
