Edward Howard Huddell

Edward Huddell was born in Newark, NJ the son of Benjamin and Alice (Davis) Huddell. He graduated from Toms River High School in New Jersey. Served with the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958 with the 656th Radar Squadron, Saratoga Springs, NY. Upon completion of service, he returned to Toms River before moving to Philadelphia. Edward worked for a time in the theater in Philadelphia before moving on to Milwaukee, WI where he was active in social causes. He then moved to Houston, TX briefly before settling in Omaha, NE where he worked as a drug and alcohol counselor, then later with homeless rehabilitation until retirement.
Edward enjoyed theater, poetry, music, reading, and was a life-long fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and frequented The Brothers pub with friends. He was an endless supporter of social causes, frequently doing all he could to benefit humanity. Edward was a proud member of the Countryside Community Church and advocate of the Tri-Faith Initiative. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. His wish remains peace for all.
Survived by his son Edward (Monica), 2 grandchildren Alyssa and Casey, and brother, William βButchβ Hammonds of Millsboro, Delaware. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Alice.
