Dear Ruth, Ed Jr. and family, My heart goes out to you as you grieve the passing of your beloved Ed. We were so sorry to see all of you leave our community, but knew it was best for you to be near family at this time. You were a beautiful asset to our church family and have been much missed since you left us! May God surround you and your lovely family with many graces and blessings in the days and week ahead.
Love and prayers, Bobbi Vaughan
On several occasions over the years @ St George when observing Ed & Ruth interact with each other, even amidst their own respective health issues, I realized I had the honor of witnessing true love. The way God intended. God bless the heart & soul of a truly humble man. My thoughts are with you Ruth & Eddie during this difficult time.
To my dismay, I missed this obit. I worked with Ed at StorageTek here in Omaha. He was a kind man with a good sense of humor. We’ll miss him.
