Katherine: My sympathy to you and your family.
It is with great love that we send our prayers and thoughts to Leslie, Russell, and Katherine. We have known Gordon since my first Air Force assignment to the 7th Air Commando Sq at Sembach Air Base Germany in 1968 and 7th Special Ops Sq at Ramstein AB, Ger. Additionally, we had the pleasure of knowing both Gordon and Leslie while living in Bellevue NE for a number of years prior to our moving out here to Tustin CA in the Summer of 2015. The wife and myself had the pleasure of partaking in the exercise program at the Hillcrest Rehab center in Bellevue for several months with both Leslie and Gordon. Our love goes out to your entire family. God Bless.
I am so sorry to hear about Gordon’s passing. As Kraston stated, I also had plthe honor of serving with Colonel Pahre at Sembach and Ramstein AB from 68 to 72 and with him at Nellis AFB, NV from 75-76 when he was Executive Officer for the DCO of Operations. Prayers and condolences to Leslie and the family for their loss. I know he’s in a better place and pain free. RIP Sir, you surely will be missed by many. God Bless.
A true officer and gentleman. I flew many missions with him in the C-47 from Sembach and Ramstein circa 1967-1971. Ruth and I send our best wishes to the family.
