Age 79
Duaine served in the U. S. Navy for 23 years, worked for the State of Nebraska as a surveyor, and for the United States Postal Service for 10 years. He lived on 6 acres in Plattsmouth where he enjoyed planting trees and gardening.
Preceded in death by his father Marvin; mother Zella; and step mother Helen.
Survived by his brother Mike Potter (Judy); nieces Heather Laskowski (Phil), Heidi Cisar (Stan “Buddy”), and Julie Meisinger.
Funeral Service Wednesday, July 22nd, 10:00 a.m., Bellevue Memorial Chapel.
Interment Bellevue Cemetery

My sympathy to the family. Duaine is my cousin, his mom Zella was my Dad’s sister. We may try to get to the funeral! We are thinking of the family. Take care, Judy McCall
I served with Duane on the USS Annapolis AGMR-1 in Viet Nam 1967 and 68. RIP old friend.
