Third generation Sarpy County farmer, lifelong member of VFW, American Legion & Eagles (FOE).
Passed away from congestive heart failure.
Preceded in death by wife Margaret; parents Lawrence & Erma Iske; step-mother Anna Iske; brother Gail Iske; son-in-law Rick Tomes; granddaughter Michelle Tomes.
Survived by children Julie Tomes, John Iske, Kathy Iske, Paula McDonnell; grandchildren Nicole Halligan (Scott), Erin McDonnell, Sara Lopez (Alex), Joe McDonnell; great grandchildren Garrett, Richard, Lilly & Jacob Halligan, Aiden, Isabella & Andrew Lopez, siblings Lawrence Gene Iske, Rosemary Muff, Joan Gearhart; sister-in-law Helen Pokorny (Tony); many loving relatives.
Visitation: Thusday, May 4 from 5-7 pm at Bellevue Memorial Chapel Funeral Service Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:30 am at Bellevue Memorial Chapel
Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth

Dear Julie, John, Kathy, & Paula. Don was such a great guy and I always enjoyed spending time with hime and Margie. He always had that wonderful smile and a little chuckle. I know he and Margie and dancing away back together again. My prayers and love are with you all. Judy
