Tesnohlidek, Delores M. Feb 16, 1931 – Dec 5, 2013 Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry, after 40 plus years of marriage; parents; sister, Shirley Prusha; and brother, Robert Eyman Jr. Delores was the first of three children born to Marie and Robert Eyman, Sr. She spent her childhood in the Brown Park area of Omaha. She married Jerry J. Tesnohlidek. They moved to Bellevue, NE, where they raised their 2 sons, Gary and Rob. As her health failed, she moved to an assisted living apartment. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she loved being Megan, Laura and Grant Tesnohlidek’s grandmother. That joy was multiplied this past year when her great grandson, Grayson was born to Grant and his wife Jenny. Delores worked at Western Electric for several years, then became a hairdresser, continuing to serve her clients in her home salon into her seventies. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, and was well known for her Czech baking, a skill she taught to her daughters-in-law, Sharon and Nancy, and shared with family, friends, and neighbors. She was a member of Avery Presbyterian Church. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Ann Eyman; and several nieces and nephews. Family will Receive friends on Monday, December 9, 5-7pm at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, Bellevue. FUNERAL SERVICE: on Tuesday, December 10, at 11am at Bellevue Memorial Chapel. Interment in Bellevue Cemetery, Bellevue.
