David Allen Finley “Dave”

January 4, 1955 – April 10, 2023

Age 68

Dave graduated from Omaha Northwest High School (class of 1973). He was an auto mechanic for over 35 years, and he was also an ASE Master Technician. Dave also obtained his real estate license, but his true passion was working with his hands. Dave was very mechanically-inclined and he helped many friends and family with projects, both around their home and with their vehicles. Dave was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to Nebraska football.

Preceded in death by his parents Chuck & Bev Finley; brother John Finley; sister-in-law Jana Finley; son-in-law Joseph Russell.

Survived by his wife of 46 years Cathy; children Chuck Finley (Julie), Debra Russell (Bobby Kotas), Rick Finley (Amy Saunders), Amanda Finley, Andrew Finley (Paige Moffat); grandchildren Seth, Jordan, Lauren, Tyler, Cambria, Hunter, Willow, Vayda; siblings Gregg Finley (Mary), Doug Finley (Michelle).

Memorial Service:  Friday, April 14, 1 p.m., Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Memorials will be directed by the family.
