Danny Madsen

Age 74
Danny (affectionately known as DM III) passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 9, 2024.
He had a lifelong love of golf and was employed by Offutt Air Force Base’s Willow Lakes Golf Course for over 30 years. Danny served as their Director of Golf before leaving in 1999 to help build Staley Farms Golf Club in Kansas City, where he served in a similar capacity through 2013. He retired and continued teaching the game he loved to students of all ages.
Preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Virginia Madsen; sister, Susan Radil, and nephews Robbie Radil and Todd Radil.
Danny is survived by his daughter, Jennifer; sons Dan Jr. (Colleen) and Jack (partner Alicia Waugh); sister Lynne Madsen; grandson Kobe Waugh; great grandchildren Aspen and Elias; niece Dana Radil; his beloved dog, Jake; also, many extended family members, loving friends and students.
Visitation: Saturday, March 23, 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., both, at the Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel.
