Daniel John “Dan” Kelly, Jr. TSgt USAF (Ret)
Dan Kelly, age 55, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2019 after a 17-year heroic battle against leukemia and its complications.
Dan was born on March 24, 1964 in La Mesa, CA. He joined the Air Force and married his high school sweetheart, Theresa. Together they had two beautiful daughters, who were the most important part of his life. He was a kid at heart who enjoyed cars, Star Wars, visiting Disney World and all the sweets that came with it. Dan drew his strength from his family and lived his life to the fullest.
Dan is survived by wife of 34 years, Theresa; daughters Brittany Kelly-Wellman (Stephen) and Kaitlyn Kelly (Nick); grandson Michael Kelly; mother Karen Baker; sister Deb Tatum (Jesse); brothers Bob Kelly and Allan Wilson; stepmother Alvina Kelly, stepbrother Rodney Boltz (Kristen); and stepsister Roxanne Werner; and many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel John Kelly, Sr. and stepmother, Stephanie VanBlarcom.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, May 22nd, 3:00 p.m., Bellevue Memorial Chapel with Military Honors by Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard.
