Cooper William Prorok

Cooper William Prorok

September 3, 2004 – January 5, 2020

Age 15

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our cherished and beloved son, Cooper William Prorok.

Those who knew Cooper, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

He enjoyed doing what most 15-year boys do, playing Xbox, looking at memes, watching anime, snacking, looking “fresh,” listening to his favorite music, hanging out with his friends, teasing his family and spending time with those closest to him.

Cooper leaves behind his mother, Megan Dannelly, his brother Ethan and his sister Eva Rose; grandparents Gaylen and Marilyn Dannelly, and his uncle Mark Dannelly.

He also leaves behind his father, Jason Prorok (Sarah), sisters Karlie, Natasha, Scarlett, and Sami, and brother, Taigent; grandparents Thomas Nelson and Rhonda Thomson.

Also surviving are many uncles, aunts, niece and cousins.

Cooper will continue to stay with us through memories and the laughs we shared with him.  We will see him everywhere, his goofy sense of humor, sweet freckles, iconic hair and the sound of his voice.  Cooper’s heart was donated and will continue to beat on.

He was proceeded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Glenn and Lucille Dannelly, and William and Betty Hayes.

He was also proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marge Prorok, William Prorok and Dallas Thomas and great-grandma Carmelita Dickenson.

Coop is flying high pain free, but he also left us all and we will never be the same again.  Now he is no longer in pain, yet we will continue to hurt.

At this time, we must all come together and laugh for Coop’s sake.

Please join us in our celebration of Coop, Visitation will be Monday, January 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Bellevue Memorial Chapel with the Celebration of Life beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Please bring a picture of Cooper if you have one and a memory to share.  The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Cooper’s Memorial Fund at Pinnacle Bank located in Fremont, Nebraska.
