Clarita Lenore “Claire” Brawner
September 8, 1939 – August 16, 2021
Age 81
Clarita was born and raised on the farm in O’Connor, NE. She finished school in Greeley, NE.
Clarita enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and attending AA meetings. Her interests included having
Propel water at the local establishments and socializing. She also liked visiting the casinos, playing Keno
and practicing her faith.
Survived by husband of 59 years, Leslie; children: Dennis Brawner (Stephanie), David Brawner,
and Denise Slottje (Tim Zimmerman); grandchildren: Mikhail & Catherine Brawner
and their children, James & Chloe, Dillon Brawner, Evan and Caitlyn Brawner, Omri Brawner, Crystal Brawner, Daniel Brawner,
Dustin Slottje and Ashley Postlewait and their son, Beckham, Linda Slottje and her children: Zoe and Elsie, Janet and Jeff McCoy and their children:
Tori, Roni, Joseph and Zachary; Siblings: Ed Costello, Joan Costello, and Delores Wingate.
Preceded in death by her daughters: Debra Ann “Deban” and Delores;
Siblings: Martin, Marie, Lorraine, Florence, Richard, Thomas, Gerald, Morris & Irene;
parents Martin and Mary Costello.

Funeral Mass: Friday, August 20, 10:30 am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2302 Crawford Street, Bellevue.

Inurnment: Saturday, August 21, 9 am, at Bellevue Cemetery.
Memorials will be directed by the family.

Such a beautiful and amazing lady. So much fun to be around. She loved her family so much. She truly did light up her room.

Thank you for the privilege of caring for your loved one. She was definitely special to all of us and she will be missed.. Clarita and I had a a lot of talks together and shared many a prayer s .together. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
To all of the family of Clair. I never knew her name was Clarita. What a beautiful name for a beautiful person. Clair was so funny to be around. She sure should of been a comedian. Clair lit up the room wherever she went. She will be missed.
