Sue and family ~ I worked in the Avery Church office for over 15 years . I feel so blessed to have known Red and Char and have many great memories. My sympathy and prayers are with your family.

    Dean & Darlene McVicker
We lived close to Red & Char for over 40 years and there is not enough time to tell you what wonderful friends and neighbors they were. Char was the oldest and longest member of Avery Presbyterian church and Red was one of the last WWII members we had at Avery. Church . They were two of the greatest of the greatest generation. and will be missed by all who knew them. No longer can I walk around the house they lived in , see them on the back deck and hear (Hi Dean want a beer)

Darlene and Dean. You were the best neighbors ever for Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Red. Loved seeing you at their house. They loved you both so much. Thanks for the love you had for them. Give the family hugs since we cant be there. Thanks. T
      Terri.

We are sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was such a bright light and so much fun. I know you are missing her. Holding you up in prayer. Sending lots of love your way.

Aunt Charlotte was an amazing woman. Even though I didn’t see her often the past years, she is still the best Aunt you could ask depend on. She was my Godmother and so was Uncle Red. We were blessed to have them in our lives. She was always busy as a Librarian in the Bellevue School System, and also the Librarian at Avery Presbyterian Church. She, as well as Uncle Red,, members of the church, spent much time devoting hours to the church as volunteers. They loved making peanut brittle every holiday season, and shared that with all of us. WIll miss her and her happy spirit.
