Age 83
Charles, a Navy Veteran, had over 40 years of government service as a procurement contract specialist with Offutt Air Force Base and deployed on over 30 assignments with FEMA including Hurricane Katrina and the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. Other avid interests included: playing cribbage, riding bicycle (including BRAN several times), restoring Model A’s and having served as Deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, NE.
Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Iza Doering
Survived by his wife of 57 years Jane; son Todd Doering; daughter Danelle (Mat) Branjord; grandchildren Ali (Shannon) Brunet, Mitch Branjord; brothers and sister Duke (Susan) Doering, Herb (JoAnn) Doering & Cathie (Tom) Anderson; many nieces & nephews, relatives and friends including the Menzel & Langacre Families.
