Chad Joseph Aune
June 20, 1981 ~ October 3, 2022
Age 41
Chad was truly full of life. He approached things with a youthful spirit that was contagious to those around him. Experiences were his currency and how he valued his time with loved ones. He lived in the moment, focused on the things and people he loved.
Chad was a passionate sports fan. He cheered for the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings, and Iowa State Cyclones. He loved a good sports debate, and was not afraid to tell you how he really felt about your team. Chad collected sports cards and had an extensive Kirby Puckett card collection. His hunt for new Puckett cards continued into his adult life. He loved Hip-Hop and Rap music including Three 6 Mafia, Brother Ali, and any artist on the Rhymesayers label.
One of Chad’s favorite places was vacationing to Lake Mary in Alexandria, Minnesota. Experiences included fishing, fish fry’s, fish awards, golfing, yard games, BBQ’s, cards, sand bar, Carlos Creek, arts and crafts, sunrises, sunsets, thunderstorms, Sequence, lots of laughs, and moments with extended family.
Preceded in death by his brother Mark Thomas Aune; maternal grandparents Harold & Tess Guggemos.
Survived by the love of his life Nicole Aune; parents Clyde & Joanne Aune; brother Jason Aune (Rachel); paternal grandparents Joe & Jean Reed; brother-in-law Kevin Glover; nephews and nieces Liam & Jackson Aune, Kelani Rose Glover-Shimerdla, Kai Joseph Glover- Shimerdla, Liam Matthew Rhye; father and mother-in-law Joseph & Denise Cobb; many other loving family members and friends.
